Granite chips

Please help me! I had Giallo Veneziano Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) tops installed in my kitchen a few weeks ago. I noticed at the installation that there were many rough places and (http://maplered.com) a few chips. They came back out a few days later and (http://maplered.com) fixed the chips with some kind of epoxy. They told me that the rough places were just part of the natural Stone (http://g603.net) . But now about 15 of the rough places have developed chips, and (http://maplered.com) more are appearing every day. They say there is nothing they can do, it's just part of natural Stone (http://g603.net) , I'm being fussy, etc. They have agreed to come out again next week and (http://maplered.com) fill in the chips, but I want to know if Granite (http://tanbrown.org) is really supposed to be coming apart like this. Is there anything I can have applied that will seal the surface better? Does my Granite (http://tanbrown.org) need to be polished? I really appreciate any and (http://maplered.com) all help.
